Welcome 02:09
Hello and welcome to the show. I'm glad you made it. We'll start things off now nice and slow. Delay the crazy. All you need is heart and ears, but bring your mind, just in case. Hello and welcome to the show. I'm glad you made it. Hello, nice to see you. Welcome to the show. You're all very welcome - front seats to back row. I'll do everything I can, I'll do everything I know to make you stand, sit, jump, dance, just don't go. Oh...

Rushin' 'round again. Gotta make my train. No time to attain some peace of mind. Stop to give some change for the music that he plays. a pod is not as good as when it's live. They say "I'm not here for you. Leave me alone." Be it far from me to pretend that I can see all, but a story's behind each and every face. I try to send a smile to the girl just down the aisle. As our eyes meet, she soon turns her head away. As if to say "I'm not here for you. Leave me alone." "I'm not here for you. I'm just trying to get home." Home. This is what it's like when you're travelling underground. Oh. Home. Home. This is what it's like. When you're travelling underground. Huh!

You may not realise that you steal the night from me. I lay my head down for rest and awake with it full of sleep. Holding on to nothing because nothing is all that you give. When I'd rather hold on to something, but I just don't know what that is. How am I supposed to believe when all that you do is deceive? And how am I supposed to confide when you lie? The sand, the waves, the wind and the stars not in your eyes. All remind me of the pain. Barely manage to stifle a sigh. How am I supposed to believe when all that you do is deceive? And how am I supposed to confide when you lie? This experience has certainly changed me, but who knows what price I must pay? As the new me comes into focus and the old me rapidly fades. And now that it's finally over I can't say I have much regret. It's just a shame that the stain on my memory is the only thing that I have left. How am I supposed to believe when all that you do is deceive? And how am I supposed to survive when all that you do is contrive? How am I supposed to not want when all you say is "You cannot"? And how am I supposed to confide when you lie? How am I supposed to believe when all that you do is deceive? And how am I supposed to confide when you lie? When you lie. When you lie. When you lie.

Candy 04:43
Candy came around last night again. With a bunch of apologies and roses for my friends. Candy came around last night again. Hoping to repair what she broke last night again. But she heeds nobody's feelings and she's screaming at the ceiling. Now I'm in the background reeling, running low. Candy came around last night again. Says she's lost all my money and she cannot get it back again, she said. Candy came around last night again. She wants an apology for everything she said. Yet she hopes, but I won't take her back, 'cause I can't stand the grief. And although she knows that, she can't help coming back and trying her luck again with me. But I hope it's the last time. I'm weak - can't you see? And I cry in the night when she calls out for me. And like a weight pulling down she's draggin' everybody. She won't go under alone. Candy came around last night again. With a bunch of apologies and roses for my friends. Candy came around last night again. Living off a memory. In receipt of her deceit, she's here again. INTERLUDE (harmonica) But she won't listen to me. And she don't see right through me. Self deceit can be consuming. Running home. But she really don't like me. And I see through her psyche. Yeah, she won't be right beside me when I go. Oh. Candy came around last night again. With a bunch of apologies in the shape of roses. Candy came around last night again. She's never been straight with me and I'm not taking her back, my friend, again. No, not again.

Yeah... Sittin' in the sunshine, sippin' local wine. Some friends had come together to share a little time and I can still see the dress you wore that day. Parked under a tree - found a shady place. Wine glass in your hand, smile upon your face. I paused as I approached to catch the breath you took away. Never saying "No", only saying "Yes". Living for the moment, having no regrets and hoping that the day would just go on and on. Momentary silence when I closed my eyes. Made a bigger space in my heart and mind for you and I wanna know if you'll fill it up. I really really wanna tell you, but I just can't find the words. Maybe I'll call tomorrow. Oh, girl am I hopeless. Whenever I think about you my feet don't touch the ground. I really really like the feeling of having you 'round. Yeah... Wound up by the harbour, finished off the wine. Picking out the stars and losing track of time. It's nights like these that make your life worthwhile. Calling for a taxi, sittin' on the kerb. Couldn't help my smiling. Does this sound absurd? Electric moonlight helped me fall in love. I really really wanna tell you, but I just can't find the words. Maybe I'll call tomorrow. Oh, girl am I hopeless. Whenever I think about you my feet don't touch the ground. I really really like the feeling of having you 'round. Yeah... [solo] I really really wanna tell you, but I just can't find the words. Maybe I'll call tomorrow. Oh, girl am I hopeless. Whenever I think about you my feet don't touch the ground. I really really like the feeling of having you 'round. Yeah...

Hey diddle diddle, the cat and his fiddle on a lazy afternoon were looking at the dish whose only wish was to jump right over the moon. While crazy Jack Horner sat in his corner, as usual minding his own. When old Mother Hubbard jumped out of the cupboard and hit Jack on the head with a bone. Meanwhile Jack and Jill went up the hill to escape their parents' prying eyes. Saw an old lady there who was in despair - looked like she'd swallowed a fly. They gave her a spider, said "Get that inside ya." She swallowed it all in one go. She gagged and spat and coughed up a cat and then started to froth at the nose. Ring-a ring-a rosie, a pocketful of posies. Not all of this is true, but all of these names are somewhat the same - they've all got the Nursery Rhyme Blues. They've all got the Nursery Rhyme Blues. Hickory Dickory, it's not trickery, the mouse fell right off his clock. While Mary, Mary, so contrary in her garden was hit by a rock thrown by Old King Cole, that merry old soul, who then laughed himself to death. And little Miss Muffet sittin' right on her tuffet, slipped off it and onto her head. Ring-a ring-a rosie, a pocketful of posies. Not all of this is true, but all of these names are somewhat the same - they've all got the Nursery Rhyme Blues. They've all got the Nursery Rhyme Blues. Oh yeah... [solo] While Mary was out just a-walkin' about with her lamb that followed her all day she saw three blind mice in a field of rice get their tails cut off by a blade. Nimble Jack and his candle stack were jumping all over the place. Jack bumped into Humpty, yeah good old Dumpty, and got egg all over his face! Ring-a ring-a rosie, a pocketful of posies. Not all of this is true, but all of these names are somewhat the same - they've all got the Nursery Rhyme Blues. I said ring-a ring-a rosie, a pocketful of posies. Not all of this is true, but all of these names are somewhat the same - they've all got the Nursery Rhyme Blues. They've all got the Nursery Rhyme Blues. They've all got the Nursery Rhyme Blues. They've all got the Nursery Rhyme, got the Nursery Rhyme, got the Nursery Rhyme Blues.

Hang-ups 03:21
Every time I try to call you, can't think of a thing to say. Every time I try to call you, words just get in the way. But I call anyway, hang up before you answer the phone. Yes I call anyway, hang up before you answer the phone. Every now and then I get lonely, every now and then I'm insane 'cause I miss being with you only and I don't wanna play the game So I call anyway, hang up before you answer the phone Yes I call anyway, hang up before you answer the phone When you talk I wanna listen, baby how I'm missin' you now And when your eyes glisten all I think about is kissin' and holding you in my arms. [solo] When you talk I wanna listen, baby how I'm missin' you now And when your eyes glisten all I think about is kissin' and holding you in my arms. Every time I try to get near you, you just keep pushing me away Every time I try to feel you, words just get in the way So I call anyway, hang up before you answer the phone Yes I call anyway, hang up before you answer the phone The phone. The phone. Answer the phone.

VERSE 1: (Neil) We were right. How could I not see? I was blinded by my sight. Understated and underrated. Took too long to decide. We were right. VERSE 2: (Heather) You said "Goodbye". I just said "Why?". Ended in a fight. How else could it end when both of us need to be right? CHORUS 1: (Heather) Tell me now then let me lie. Wear me down until I cry. But now that you're gone it's to late to realise. Oh, we were right. VERSE 3: (Neil) Take my hand. Tell me you understand. All it takes is a word. I never intended for my words to make you burn. CHORUS 2: (both) There we were just like that night. Holding hands, still in denial. There you are right by my side. And now that you're gone, I finally realise. Oh, we were right. (Neil) We were right. Ooh. We were right. I miss you already. I miss you always.
